Snow... here we come by Harvey

It was a bit of a tough day all round today.  Maisie battled it out with the tummy bug and was vomitting all day.  It was bad for her because we had an airport transfer first to Rome airport and even though we were in a minivan, the driver drove like he was driving a Ferrari.  All drivers in Rome from what we observed were crazy.  We then checked our bags into Geneva.  Note well, this is an important bit.
Our first flight was to Zurich.  It was snowing very heavily in Zurich.  We got quite excited.  We had a quick change over and boarded our second plane for Geneva which was not far up the road.  Our plane had to get de-iced before we could take off.
We were a bit disappointed to see it wasn't snowing in Geneva.  But I was even more disappointed to discover that my bag did not make it.  It was lost.  We reported the bag missing and missed our transfer bus to Flaine.  In my bag, I had all my clothes and my ventolin and the things I have bought along the way.  I hope that they find it soon.
We got another transfer bus and as we started the winding drive up the mountain ( not good for Maisie's stomach), it started snowing!! Really really snowing.  By the time we arrived in Flaine it was snowing quite heavily and there was lots of snow around.  It looks like a fairy tale.
I can't wait for tomorrow.
Our apartment building is closest on the right, you can just see the balcony.
This is the Main Street of Flaine Foret.  Our apartment building is on the left.
There is lots of snow.
It is still looking very Christmassy.
Actually all the trees look Christmassy.
