Welcome to Dubai πŸ‡―πŸ‡΄ By Maisie

We arrived in Dubai at 7:40 am this morning after a 7 hour flight from London. Quite jet lagged, we lined up to get our passports stamped and collect our luggage. We then caught a taxi to our apartment.

Our apartment is very fancy for our standards. When we arrived a doorman collected our bags and placed them on a gold luggage trolley! Fancy!
We then checked in but had to wait in the lobby for our apartment to be cleaned, dusted etc. However it wasn't such an unpleasant wait at all as we had the Big Bash Womens League on TV and comfy lounge seats in ten air con! Just to top it off a waiter gave us each a tropical mangoy cocktail to drink!!! 🍹It was delicious!
Soon our apartment was really and we unloaded our luggage and got ready to go out. We then caught another taxi to the inner city. On the way there we saw the tallest building in the world (Burj Khalifia 828m).

FUN FACT:Did you know constructions have already began for a new world record tall building in Dubai that will be over 1000m tall!!!

We got our at the Dubai mall. We saw many shops but didn't by anything. One of the highlights was seeing the aquarium. We didn't pay to go inside but we saw many fish, sting rays and even a shark from the outside.

We then went to the Dubai Mall fountain which had spectacular views of Burj Khalifa.

Love this action shot pic of me below!! πŸ˜‚☀️πŸ’•

Also love this pic taken by ME!! ❤️❤️❤️

We the went and got some sushi for lunch and the came back for the fountain display (the part where it shoots up). Music began to play and the water almost 'danced' seemlessly with the music. πŸ’¦⛲️🎢

We then came back to our apartment by taxi and got ready to have a swim to cool down! ☀️

Our apartment is very close to the airport so the boys spent most of the afternoon plane spotting! ✈️

This is the view.

An early start tomorrow morning as we have a plane to catch!
