Dinner out in London by Maisie

Tonight was our last night in London before we fly to Dubai. We arrived in Gatwick after a 2 and a half hour flight from Geneva. We caught 4 trains to our apartment; the first a two minute one from the terminal to the train station, a second high speed 'Gatwick Express' to Victoria station, London, and then 2 tubes to Hammersmith station closest to our apartment. When we arrived it was cold 🌬 and raining very hard 🌧 (the circle and district lines were closed due to flooding on the platforms!)  We had to walk up the street in the heavy rain not entirely knowing where we were going. We found our apartment and it is very nice! It has a buffet breakfast! 🍳 It's a pity we are only staying for one night. ☹️ (I am writing the blog in one of the pics!)

Anyway, we decided to go out for dinner. We found this fish and chips shop just down the road called Kerbisher & Malt. It was very nice! 

We ate our fish and drank our coke as we watched cars drive by and people walk by in the rain. 🚗 ☔️

Tomorrow Harvey and dad are getting a tour of lords (the cricket ground) whilst us girls go shopping and visit the new Lego store in Leicester Square. We leave for Dubai tomorrow at aprox. 8:30 pm.

Hoping for so warm climate there. ☀️
