We have lift off ✈️🛫 by Harvey

This morning dad and I waited in the cold and dark for our taxi to arrive. It was early New Year's Day and the street was deserted. It felt like we were only people awake in all of Paris. 😴😴😴😴😴😳

We hopped in a taxi and by 8:30 we were at the airport once more. We had a big surprise on the way to the airport, read Milla's blog to find out more. We went through security and when we were air side I bought a model plane from a gift shop. Not long after we boarded the plane we were in the air again.

🛫 There was a great view of the alps with the snow capped mountains poking through the clouds. Landing was quick and smooth, it felt like we had to taxi for another hour to get to the gate. We hopped off the plane and onto a shuttle bus and the pilot stood right next to us.(not shown in pic)

After we got off we collected our bags at carousel 14 and found our driver straight away. Luca drove us to inner Rome. We are staying in apartment 5 right under the walls of the Vatican City. I am looking forward to skiing and mum is praying for more snow!
