Roman Sports Stadium by Harvey

I've been to the GABBA, the SCG, the MCG, the Adelaide Oval and the WACA and now I've been to the Colloseum!
The Colosseum is 2000 years old.  It could hold 60,000 people.  The Romans had fights to the death with Slaves, animals and gladiators.  At one point, they even filled the Colloseum with water and reenacted sea battles.  It had 5 levels and it had shade awnings for the spectators.
We saw the trap doors where the animals were lifted up into the arena.  We also saw where the emperor sat.
It was free for everyone to go to the Colloseum.  People sat in different class areas.  I wish it was free to go and see sport these days.

PS Milla is vomitting tonight.  I hope I don't get sick.

  1. My 3rd attempt today at trying to write a comment. Let's see if I have success this time Harvey. I find it quite incredible that the Colloseum is 2000 years old and still standing. X Nannie
