Goodbye London, hello hire car by Milla

We went to Hillary, Braddas, Colin, Connor and Sophia's house.
They had a fire going when we arrived.  It was 5 degrees outside.
We now have our own car, so we drove there.
We feasted in front of the tv watching Home Alone 2.  First we had an entree with milk in a plastic wine glass with donuts and chips.  They call chips crisps.
Then came the Easter chocolate bunny.
The next morning we woke up and send goodbye to Colin and Connor because they had to go to school.
We prepared for a walk in the woods.  I was in charge of the dog, Maggie.
She is a black and white dog that acted strong and bouncy.  She runs really fast and she was actually taking me for a walk.  I needed to show her who was boss.  I was holding onto the leesh and it felt like I was water skiing in the mud.  My good pink jacket got splashed with mud.  So did my leggings.  I wore gum boots that were big.  Which was good because I still have blisters from ice skating,  they call boots Wellies.
Braddas and Hillary are very nice people.

  1. The English countryside is beautiful isn't it Milla. I can see why you needed wellies though. Did you have to climb over any stiles? They are steps to climb over when there is no gate between paddocks. X Nannie

  2. You must of been on cloud nine playing with that dog Milla. I guess you've noticed how everything is always wet underfoot in the UK winter. Sounds like you're having a great family holiday. Love from Pop.
