A Day at the Museum by Milla

On Friday we went to the Natural History Museum.
First we went through the sea water area and we saw lots of stuffed animals.  We also saw animals that don't go in the sea like birds.
I learnt that the teeth of a sheep keep growing back and they never run out.  Did you know that an elephant has 8 teeth and they stop growing back at age 70?  This is when they die of starvation because they can't eat.
I also saw a gorilla named Guy. When he was a baby he was left from his mother and they gave him a hot water bottle to keep him warm and remind him of his mother.  He was scared of fireworks and had to have someone sleep beside him to keep him company.  He grew to be an impressive size but had been fed too much.  He got heart problems and died of that. He was then taken to the museum where he was stuffed and put on display.  I think that he had fake eyes.  They stared at me.
I also bought a toy rabbit with my own money and I called him "Ketchup".  He is fluffy and cute.  He cost 12 pounds and is priceless.
